REPORT ON GREEN -13 ACTIVITY
GREEN-13 event was in the month of October 2013.
Event was held by Saboo siddique engineering college . They held various competitions related to nature and environment conservation.
9 students have participated in different competitions like sand paper painting, best out of waste, elocution , quiz etc. The students won the third prize for making best out of waste.
SCIENCE ACTIVITITY
RAIN WATER HARVESTING REPORT BY SCIENCE CLUB
Science club had conducted an activity on rain water harvesting in the month of July.
The students of science club were shown the video clips on importance of water. Explanation was done by MrsPraveen khan and Mrs Arzoo.Forty students participated in the programme. The main objective of the programme was to make the students aware of rain water harvesting and its importance.
Rain water harvesting is the accumulation and deposition of rain water for reuse before it reaches the aquifer. Uses includes water for gardening , livestock, irrigation etc. In many places the water collected is just redirected to a deep pit with percolation. The harvested water can be used as drinking water as well as for storage and other purposes.
The presentation was done on power point in room no 401.Photographs are copiedin Campus 1 folder in school p.c .
Science bulletin news activity Report by science club
Science club had conducted an activity of collection of cut outs of current science affairs from any source of information in the month of August.
The objective of the activity is to inculcate scientific attitude among students and to create interest and curiosity about current affairs.
The activity was conducted by Ms Ishrat and Mrs Arzoo teachers of science club. The students were explained about the different sources of information like newspapers, magazines, net surfing etc. The students were explained about the few current affairs and were asked to collect the information through different sources and paste on chart papers and explain one of the topics.
The photographs are copied in campus 1 folder in the school p.c.
